We just got off the phone with Tash from Trans Metro who gave the following information:

1. You’ll take the train from Wellington station to Featherston station, departing Wellington at X:XXam and arriving at Featherston at XXpm (fare is $XX.XX for an adult and $XX.XX for a child if you’re taking your daughter too)
2. The #200 timetabled bus will be waiting at the Featherston station so you can jump straight off the train and on to the bus which will get you to Martinborough (fare is $XX.XX for an adult)

Tash said she didn’t think you would need to pre-book your train ticket for the Martinborough Fair as the standard capacity should allow you to go down to the station and purchase your ticket there before you jump on but she’s going to check with her supervisor and call us back to confirm this so we’ll get back to you when we hear back from Tash.

Les said there was a lot of demand, when the weather bomb hit in XXX/XXX, to reschedule the fair so he believes there will be a lot of people training there tomorrow.

If you can’t run down to the station today then I can organise one of the taggers to run down and get those train tickets for you at no cost. We don’t want you to miss out :) If that works for you then let me know how many tickets you need and we’ll get that done for you and can arrange to drop the tickets off wherever you need.
